Welcome to Sam Osborne Online!
Welcome to my new site, Sam Osborne Online. Basically I needed a proper site instead of a blog. Of course, I'm still keeping the blog, just using this as an extension of it.
There's going to be lots more coming in the site in the not too distant future. Just got to work out how to do a few things first!
A big thanks to the following people for helping me make this site what it is. Couldn't have done it without them. (Their names link to their Twitter - go follow them!) Ryan Lineker for starting me off on the site, Jordan Howell (iMediaMonkey.com) for giving me tons of help as and when I needed it, and last but certainly not least, Tom Cadwallader for hooking me up with the company thats hosting this for me. A new addition to those helpers is Oliver Dunkley (OliverJD.com) who helped me with some advice and additions to the site.None of it could of happened without you lot. Big thanks to you all <3.
Latest Update: 28/11/09 All Day: The site was completely re-coded. The code was cleared up and it was all turned into PHP instead of what it was previously, HTML. It's now, instead of having Dreamweaver code cluttering it all up and slowing it all down, it's referencing other pages into it and also, I've turned a load of it into CSS very nicely, so, on average, it should load a lot quicker. Also, it should be easier than ever for me to make changes to a single page or the site template as a whole.
Pictures, pictures, pictures. I've got it ready, but we need some more code in there for it to work properly. In theory, the pictures page will be looking similar to the Downloads page in the listing way. You can get to the pictures page, but you'll just get the coming soon page.
On the flip side, we've now got Downloads! There's a new link in the navigational buttons at the top of the site, which, as far as I'm aware, is now on every page. Enjoy the new features!
Another new feature debuted today! We've now got a Contact Form on the Contact page if you don't want to email me manually. The form now works.
This afternoon, we launched a 404 page. Now, if you visit a page that doesn't exist, you'll be taken to the 404 page. Feel free to contact me with any comments regarding it.
